There are limited local rail services on the island - trains run through the southern
part of the islands from LLanfairpwll to Holyhead.

The bus service on Anglesey is excellent.
Frequent services link all parts of the island to each other and the mainland via bangor.
Travelling to North Wales is quick and easy - the A55 coastal Expressway links the region with the
historic City of Chester, the North West of England and the motorway network - M56, M6, M53 and M54.
For a more scenic route, follow the A5 from Chirk.

Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Bangor and Holyhead, (the gateway to Ireland).
From Crewe, Manchester and Warrington, Arriva Trains Wales services
www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk operate to Llandudno and Holyhead, and also on the Conwy Valley
Line, providing a scenic journey between Llandudno, Betws-y-Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog, connecting
into Ffestiniog Railway services www.festrail.co.uk to Porthmadog (Harbour). From Shrewsbury,
Arriva Trains Wales also operate services to Machynlleth and the Cambrian Coast line to Barmouth,
Porthmadog, Criccieth and Pwllheli.

Holyhead is the Gateway to Ireland. Ferries to Ireland are also available from Fishguard and Pembroke.
Ferries connect the U.K to France, Spain and Holland and are well connected by road &
rail.

With the emergence on budget airlines such as Ryan Air and Easy Jet, it has never been
cheaper to visit North wales.
Manchester Airport is a major U.K. airport and provides easy access to North Wales from Europe,
USA and beyond.
Liverpool (John Lennon) Airport is rapidly growing and offers connections from
Ireland and Europe.
Other Major Britsh Airports include London Gatwich & London Heathrow which are well connected by road &
rail.
Flights are also available from Cardiff & Birmingham.
